I wish people would rate the product and not the seller. I ordered from Georgia Grown Gardens instead of Hirts and had great service. I had the seeds 4 days after I ordered them. As far as the peppers go, They grow just as an ordinary Habenero would but the peppers turn from green to a chocolate, and if you leave them on the plant long enough they turn dark red. Taste is a lot like an orange hab. wit sort of a smokey taste. Very Hot!!

Five of the six seeds came up...took about ten days with a heat pad and a 100ppm soak of gibberellic acid for around 5 hours.I also had good suscess with some of the other habs from Hirts.Peruvian White Lightning,Savannah Red Habanero,Hot Paper Lantern Habanero.Heat is the key to germination, and the gibberellic acid really seemed to help out as well. Now let's see if a can keep them growing till I can plant them outside!

I planted these at the same time as other very rare peppers and this was the only pepper that did not grow. I'll try a different source next time.

I placed an order for the Jamaican Hot chocolate and the peach habenero peppers, the company said they sent it I never received the items, when I called the company, their representative informed me that it was no longer their responsibility, I have to pursue the matter with the United States Post Office. I will never purchase from this company again
