It used to be that plastic or cloth replicas of blossoms were too bright and too gaudy which marked them very clearly as fakes. People could tell at a distance that these blooms were obviously faux and this would surely not be a good thing for the finished look. Hello I am wanting to put baskets hanging around the garden to brighten Abit but I have no idea where to start with regard to flowers-to-use techniques to prolong life and maintain health, etc. I agree with some colorful a fullness to it so it can be seen from a distance not only in a few flowers that wouldnt be seen unless you look at the question! any help is greatly appreciated!

Alternatives to flowers left at a grave?

I am planning a family history trip and I will be visiting upwards of a couple hundred graves. Obviously, real flowers left at each grave would be a big expense but I would feel bad leaving nothing.

Are artificial flowers allowed at most cemeteries (the ones I am visiting are mostly old and unmaintained)? If I use artificial flowers, what kind of artificial flowers should I buy? Is there anything besides flowers that you can think of that I should use?

Any ideas on what flowers grow in shaded areas?

I have a flower bed up against the back of my house and which is completely covered by the overhead deck. I want to plant some plants there, but don’t know which flowers grow best in very shaded areas? Also there is a large rabbit population in my neighborhood and would like to plant flowers that the rabbits wouldn’t be so eager to eat.
