Weed and gardening tips?

I'm weeding my flowers grandmothers who could plant new flowers for her. The problem is that no I have knowledge about gardening and the beds are completely overrun by tall grass. Should I spray the weed with an herbicide before retirement or begin your process? As a murderer in good weed? Taking into account that will work all day I'm trying to make this as painless as possible. The advice is appreciated

Probably would not spray herbicide spray can easily kill wanted plants, along with unwanted weeds. The best method is by hand or in the garden tool of choice. If you miss a weed and seen it later, simply remove the flowers, at least prevent weeds from spreading. The best way (I seemed) to prevent weeds from returning are using newspapers. I put several layers (5-6 layers), where weeding, and the magazine cover with mulch. The document prevents weeds that have survived and decomposes over time and helps build better soil. It is better than landscape fabric because it can grow easily without getting something to reduce the landscape fabric. In addition to being a good recycling. The key to the future is to prevent weeds in the first place. And do not worry if you have some herbs, I dare say most people do not support the garden.

soup, potatoes with Olive Garden, cabbage (I think), I called Zuppa Toscana?

It has potatoes, cabbage, garlic and sausage in a soup light cream. only two soups on the menu that is offered at the beginning of your meal, and lunch menu of soup, salad, and breadsticks. I loved this soup and you want to do here at home.

Olive Garden Zuppa Toscana This is a recipe is in high demand at this site, by name! A person who worked at the Olive Garden sent the original recipe I adapted to serve 6-8. Try it, it's really delicious! PS To be honest, this recipe is not very "Tuscan." It is a very good soup and paste in the place cold days of winter. I have included this and other recipes inspired Olive Garden site for all our visitors who like to eat at this restaurant chain, I think making these recipes even better house! Makes: 6-8 servings Ingredients pound ground Italian sausage January 1 ½ c. teaspoon red pepper 1 onion large white, chopped 4 cups of bacon c. teaspoon crushed garlic soup October 2 cups water 5 chicken bouillon cubes 1 cup heavy cream 1 pound sliced Russet potatoes, about 3 potatoes ¼ large bunch of Italian sausage and sauteed cabbage ground red pepper in a saucepan. Drain excess fat, refrigerate while preparing other ingredients. The same pan, saute bacon, onion and garlic for 15 minutes approxiamtly. or until the onions are soft. Mix chicken broth and water, then add onion, bacon and garlic. Cook Bring to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender, about half an hour. Add the cream and cook until heated thoughouly. Add the sausages. Add kale just before serving. Delicious!

Growing an herb garden inside with fluorescent lamps?

I bought a kit for a pre-packaged herb garden aromatic. He had three bags of Burpee seeds of Basil, organo and thyme. The floor was of little disks that expand when water was added. I planted the seeds, as shown. The container is like a box of round window and the metal is approximately 14 "x 3 inches. The floor is wet and I have not watered since planted all (2 days). Since there is much sunlight coming through I want to supplement the light with a compact fluorescent bulb. I have 2 60 watts, covering the range of the box (which is a aquarium accessory) How long before I see results? How long should I maintain in the DRL? Do I have to follow in order to cover with plastic? Any other advice? N lulu No, really growing basil, thyme and oregano.

You can use fluorescent grow lux for the best results, but you must see the seeds of a week and a half to three weeks. You do not have to use the lights until the germ.

What is the best way to clean garden tools for poison ivy?

I know I'm poison ivy, the oil still may be in my tools. How do I get rid of it for you? You can not re-infected! My wedding is in four weeks.

Then wash the tools with cool water, then take a chlorine solution ratio: 1 part bleach to 9 parts water. Then dry. I keep a little help or Cort-Tech Nu-around if of accidental contact with the known. The volatile oil called urushiol and is very strong. I stroked my dog and then touched my face when I left the hair from my eyes – And, therefore, seemed like a leper for three weeks. If you are especially sensitive only to be washed with soap and water can not do the trick. And whatever you do make sure of cold water – hot water causes the oil to disperse into the pores of your skin.
