Another weekly update on our upside down and container garden. Broccoli struggling a little bit and one of my upside down tomatoes in a container is not as healthy as it’s “sister” growing right side up. Cucumbers are doing gang busters! This is our second post on YouTube with the Topsy Turvy. Everything is going well except for the strawberries. As I feared, after checking out other videos here, I caught the bug and this morning I forced my wife into the car and off to the local nursery we went. Down the aisles I ran tossing supplies into the cart as I pulled her behind me….hangers, pots, Miracle Gro w/ Moisture Control and of course more vegetables. We got home and immediately started cutting the centers out of the containers, putting up the hangers and began planting. Hope everyone had a good 4th of July! Not much has changed. Everything still pretty healthy. Bell peppers are changing colors and the cucumbers are doing well. Tumbling Toms are producing several ripe tomatoes every nite. Be warned: I am now formally planning my garden for next year. Boy, am I gonna have some fun! My wife can’t believe we haven’t really even started harvesting a lot of veggies and I’m already looking forward to next year….LOL. Thanks for looking. Any advice, please leave me a post.
