Pepper.
Sea Salt (better for you than iodized salt)
Basil.
Oregano.
Parsley.
Italian Seasoning.
Crushed Red Pepper.
Garlic Powder.
Onion Powder.
Ground Cinnamon.
Nutmeg.
(If your a big garlic and pepper fan, like I am, try: McCormick's 'California Style' Garlic Pepper, with red bell & black pepper. It is SO GOOD! I use it in almost everything)

Others that are great for cooking with, but aren't so commonly used are: Rosemary, Thyme, Cumin, Paprika, Lemon Pepper.

*McCormick makes Great spices and seasonings*

Also, Olive Oil is great for cooking with! It's healthy for you and I've heard it helps curb cravings and help your appetite control.

I always use garlic powder, lemon pepper, oregano, basil.

I cook a lot of italian and that comes in handy a lot. If you cook different styles you might want to use rosemary, sage, tyme, chili pepper, bay leaves.

good luck in your cookings!
